AUCTIONEER’S NOTE
Red & Maylene Rabeneck, NAWCC #079692, of Kansas City MO, have collected clocks and pocket watches for over 60 years. Red (Malvern) Rabeneck did the text and research for Roy Ehrhardt’s Clock Identification and Price Guides. We will be selling some clocks pictured on these book covers. Maylene Rabeneck collected mostly men’s pocket watches, 600 of them. It is with the greatest pleasure that we offer these collections to you at Public Auction. As ever, there is NO Buyer’s Premium or Sales Tax. Statements Sale Day Take Precedence Over All Printed Material.
TERMS
Cash, Cashier’s Check and Business/Personal checks. ALL Checks submitted in payment will be known by the Auctioneer or accompanied by a letter of credit from the paying bank stating dates covered, credit amount and made out to Red Rabeneck. All letter of credits need to be submitted to the cashier on or before Friday, April 23 for verification. All purchases must be paid for each day. If you are unable to take clocks each day, please make arrangements with the Auctioneer.
ABSENTEE BIDS
All bids sent to the Auctioneer before the auction date, to be executed and shipped by the Auctioneer, must be accompanied by payment of 50% down on bid amount. Further, there will be a 5% handling charge, actual professional packing costs and actual shipping costs. No clock ships until paid for. If the absentee bid and the audience bid are the same, Clock will be sold to bidder in the audience.
AUTHENTICITY
Potential bidders are advised to satisfy themselves as to authenticity, condition and correctness of clock prior to bidding. While all clocks are represented to the best of 3 long standing NAWCC members knowledge and abilities, all clocks will be sold “as is” with no guarantees. If we have described something different than you feel it should be, please discuss this with us prior to the auction, as we want you to be satisfied with your purchases.
